Goals & Objectives

The main purpose of the Center is research and development and education and training for all categories of people, in the sectors of Packaging, Printing and Graphic Arts - Graphic Communication, with the cooperation of all natural and legal persons who have any connection with the above sectors.

The main objectives of the Center are:

  • Development of sectors, businesses and human capital

  • Research and development of innovations in entrepreneurship and production, with an emphasis on new technologies, quality, exports and the circular economy

  • Educational actions - education and training for all categories of people, in the Packaging, Graphic Arts and Printing sectors as well as for cooperating companies in related and other sectors

  • Participation in national and international research projects and development programs

  • Information actions and events of all kinds and forms (conferences, workshops, participation in exhibitions, etc.) for the promotion of sectors and businesses

 

The purpose and implementation of the main objectives of the center are implemented with the following actions:

  • Analysis of human capital needs in the aforementioned sectors

  • Design and implementation of education and training programs of all kinds and forms, for the development of all people related to the sectors and businesses of Packaging, Graphic Arts and Printing, as well as related and cooperating sectors

  • Operation of structures and programs for education, training and further training of human capital and in general all those interested in the development of knowledge, abilities and skills, in the sciences and technologies of the sectors of Packaging, Printing and Graphic Arts - Graphic Communication as well as related and cooperating sectors

  • Issue of studies, instructions and specifications for the application of new technological and other developments to the respective modern requirements and needs of the sectors

  • Study and support of research, development, and modernization activities of the above sectors

  • Elaboration of reports and recommendations to the competent state bodies for the modern formation of research and education of the above sectors

The objectives of the Center are promoted and presented in Greece and internationally by organizing conferences, seminars, workshops and other activities, by participating in exhibitions and other events with the aim of informing sectors and businesses as well as the general public and Greek society

Participation of the bodies

The Center for Research, Development and Education, Packaging, Printing and Graphic Communication - PackPrint Science, in no case substitutes the participating bodies, in their individual institutional roles, powers and rights. Each participating body fully maintains its autonomous and independent overall, financial, administrative and operational activity and operation
