Current and new members at GRAPHICA
Research, innovation, education and training in Packaging, Printing and Graphic Communication found their expression.
The PackPrint Science organization which is a creation of the collaboration of ELSET (Hellenic Association of Label Makers), HELGRANED (Panhellenic Association of Graduates of Graphic Arts Technology) and FESPA (Silkscreens, Large Size Digital Printing, Textile Printing) was presented for the first time at SYSKEVASIA 2024.
At GRAPHICA 2025, it made a more dynamic and substantial appearance on Saturday, March 23, 2025.
In an event with five sections and ten speakers there was a thorough presentation of the goals, purposes and ways that the initiators of the new organization aspire to create the new landscape they dream of.
The modules and topics developed were:
INTRODUCTION
"Developments in Printing and the Packprint Science Center" and "The importance of print in modern times".
INNOVATIONS IN PRINT PRODUCTION
"Automations in the management and flow of printing jobs" and "Innovations in Pre-Printing of Packaging".
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE GRAPHIC ARTS
"Industry 4.0 and Digital Workflow Systems: The Role of Artificial Intelligence and Automation in Graphic Arts and Packaging" and "The Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Graphic Arts and Printing".
EDUCATION - TRAINING
"Graphic Arts and Printing Education" and "Graphic Arts Technology Direction".
INNOVATIONS IN THE APPLICATIONS OF PRINTS IN THE ARTS
"The modern applications of Graphic Arts in Scenography and Theatrical Visual Communication" and "The reproduction of works of art with innovative techniques in Silk Printing".
The interest of the listeners was great and many approached the speakers for questions and more information after the end of the event, at the Exhibition grounds and at the PackPrint Science stand, where we also had an information leaflet. It is characteristic that many asked to become members of the new organization, which was implemented on the spot.
The temporary Administration warmly thanks the organizers for the free provision of the booth, as well as for the concession of the hall, where the event took place.
Soon we will be able to come back with newer and more dynamic actions.
