The PackPrint Science Center at the presentation of the Interpack 2026 exhibition

George Triantafyllou and Tasos Politis from the PackPrint Science Center participated in the presentation of the Interpack exhibition, which will take place in Duesseldorf from 7 to 13 May 2026.

At the event, the exhibition program was presented by Ms. Cornelia Tautenhahn, press officer of Interpack, as well as the developments in packaging by Ms. Judith Binzer, representative of the VDMA (German Machinery Manufacturers Association). The event was perfectly organized by Alexia Castro and Diana Stiehle, of the Messe Duesseldorff delegation for Greece and Cyprus.

The Interpack exhibition is the leading event in the packaging industry worldwide. In particular, the full range will be presented, from the production and processing of packaging and packaging materials, to quality assurance with a focus on consumer protection.

The exhibition brings together experts from all over the world to exchange views on the latest technologies and solutions and provides impetus for future issues in the industry.

The event revealed, based on data and forecasts, that Packaging is developing worldwide at particularly significant growth rates. Indicatively, it is reported that for the period 2024-2029, food and beverage packaging is estimated to increase by 11.1% and in a volume reaching 5.5 billion tons, compared to 5 billion. tons in the period 2019-2024.
